Lucky competition winner gets Media Centre PC from AVG

AVG UK recently held a competition in conjunction with Computeractive magazine. Up for grabs were fifteen copies of the new AVG Internet Security Home Edition, and an F1 Media Centre PC.Entrants were asked to identify how many PCs the Home Edition was able to cover, and the winning entry was drawn at random.

The lucky winner of this competition, Mr Paul Thompson of Louth, Lincolnshire, correctly answered that the AVG Internet Security Home Edition was able to protect up to Three PCs. We visited Mr Thompson at their family shop Jameson Shoe Repairs to present him with his new Media Centre machine and a copy of AVG Internet Security Home Edition.

Mr Thompson said "I'm grateful to Computeractive and AVG for running the competition, and it was great to actually win. When you enter these things you never really think you will win anything. It was good to have it personally delivered by AVG themselves too. I could not wait for 5 o'clock to come so that I could get home and get connected. When I did I was very impressed with the speed and look of the computer, thanks again this will keep me going for years to come - and of course I'll be installing my copy of AVG to keep it secure."
